You need to know who is this all for.
Please ensure that you give proper attention to your existing customers, and take time to understand their needs and desires. Your ideal customer is somebody who gets you and loves you and vice versa. For me imagining this loving connection is what helps most with creating the website.
To understand your clients more deeply, try to answer these questions from their perspective:
- What do they want?
- What are they worried about?
- What obstacles stand in their way?
You can fine-tune your message if you understand your client so your offer aligns with what they want and your message resonates with them.

How would you describe what you do?
Try to be as simple as possible and include what, for whom and how you do it. For example, I help creative entrepreneurs to build their own websites with clarity and stress-free.
Your main intention: why do you want a website or a website redesign?
Examples: book more clients, sell products and services, create affiliates, position yourself as an influencer in your field, and teach online.
How would you like others to feel when they are landing on your website?
Examples: safe, clear, calm, fun, confident, modern, elegant, bold, feminine, etc.
What do they want?
What are they looking for before they even come to your website?
What are they worried about?
Or uncertain about or afraid of. This is usually stopping them to make contact with you, so you should talk about these concerns on your website.
What obstacles stand in their way?
This typically can be money or time.
